Bathroom Vanities

Bathroom Vanity Tops Cut in Our Boynton Beach Shop

A vanity top is a small piece of stone that carries a lot of detail: the sink, the faucet holes, the backsplash and the edge you lean on every morning.

Custom vanity tops are built around three choices you make first: the cabinet, the sink and the faucet. Each top comes off the CNC in our Boynton Beach shop with the sink opening cut and every edge polished.

Whether the top is part of a bathroom remodel or a simple swap, the fit comes from measuring the real cabinet, not a drawing of it. Once your vanity is in place, along with anything mounted above or below the top, the crew that will install the stone templates it digitally. Keeping the vanity you have? We template right on it, and pulling out the old top and hauling it away can go into the same project, so you’ll see it on your estimate before we start.

You choose the stone in person. Walk our showroom’s racks in Boynton Beach, where more than 500 slabs are in stock, and point to the one your vanity top should be cut from.

After templating, installation typically follows in 7–10 business days. Template day and install day are covered step by step on our installation page.

Sizes

Single and Double Vanity Tops

One sink or two, each top is cut to the cabinet it sits on.

A single vanity top has one sink opening and one set of faucet holes. A double sink vanity top has two of each, cut into the same top and spaced to the cabinet below, so two people can get ready side by side.

How long can a vanity top be? A standard slab measures about 120 by 55 inches. A straight top shorter than the slab can be cut in one piece. A vanity longer than that gets a seam, which we plan with you and show you before anything is cut.

Small tops are also where square-foot pricing helps. A vanity top cut from a slab in our stock is priced on the stone your top uses, not on the whole slab. The sink cutouts and a matching 4-inch backsplash are itemized on the same estimate.

New cabinet, too? Our vanity cabinets are made to order and installed by our own team, and we template the top once the new cabinet is set.

Choosing a Stone for the Bathroom

Any of our four stones can top a vanity. The real difference is upkeep, and the look you want to live with.

Bathroom countertops meet water, soap and toothpaste every day, so start with how much sealing you’re willing to do, then pick the color.

Quartz

A quartz vanity top is non-porous, so soap scum and spilled lotion stay on the surface, and it never needs a coat of sealer. Its pattern is consistent, which makes it easy to match across two bathrooms.

  • Non-porous
  • Never needs sealing
Explore quartz

Granite

Natural stone with a pattern no other slab repeats. On a vanity, reseal it with a penetrating sealer once every year or two, and wipe it down with a pH-neutral product made for stone.

  • Natural stone
  • Simple reseal
Explore granite

Quartzite

Harder than granite, with veining that reads like marble. It’s natural stone, so it needs periodic sealing, and we’ll tell you how often for your particular slab.

  • Natural stone
  • Harder than granite
Explore quartzite

Marble

A marble vanity top is the classic look, and a vanity is one of the places we recommend marble. Compared with quartz or granite it’s softer and absorbs more, so over the years it takes on a patina.

  • Natural stone
  • Soft veining
Explore marble

Vanity tops are cut in 2 cm or 3 cm thickness. Straight polished is our standard edge, and eased, beveled, ogee and mitered profiles are also available.

Sinks & Faucets

Undermount Vanity Sinks and Faucet Holes

Choose the sink and the faucet before template day, because we cut both openings in our shop to match them.

Shopping for vanity tops with sink included? We can supply the vanity sink with your top and list it on your estimate.

Undermount sink

The bowl mounts under the stone, so what you see is the polished edge of the cutout. Our crew attaches it on installation day. Compare undermount vanity sinks with the other styles we work with.

Faucet holes

Single-hole faucet or a three-hole set? Tell us the model, and we cut the holes in our shop at the spacing that faucet needs.

Top-mount sink

A top-mount sink drops into the opening and rests on the stone by its rim. It’s another style we work with, if you prefer it to undermount.

Plumbing Old faucet to disconnect, new one to hook up? Raise it when we walk through your estimate, and we’ll go over how it’s handled.

Remnants

Remnants: A Smart Fit for Vanities

A vanity top needs a small piece of stone, and a remnant is exactly that.

Remnants are the pieces left over after larger projects are cut from full slabs. Bathroom vanities are one of the jobs they suit best, and because the stone is already in our inventory, a remnant is often priced lower than a top from a new slab.

What’s on hand depends on what larger jobs leave behind, so the search starts with your numbers: the vanity’s width and depth, and one sink or two. Send them and we’ll look for a piece that fits. Our countertop remnants page explains how remnants work for other small projects, too.

Asking for a remnant?

In the estimate form, choose “Remnant for a small project” and add your vanity’s size under “Tell us about the project”.

FAQ

Bathroom Vanity Top Questions

What size vanity top do I need?

The size your vanity cabinet calls for. Each top we make is cut to the cabinet it sits on, so we template it once the cabinet is installed. For a price before anyone visits, send the cabinet’s width and depth and tell us whether you want one sink or two. No measurements yet? We’ll measure for free. A straight top shorter than a standard slab, about 120 inches, can be cut in one piece.

Can you make a double vanity top with two sinks?

Yes. We cut both sink openings and both sets of faucet holes in our shop, on the same top, lined up with the cabinet below. Pick the two sinks and faucets before template day, since every opening is cut to fit them. If the vanity runs longer than a standard slab of about 120 inches, it needs a seam, and we show you where it will fall before cutting.

Which stone is best for a bathroom vanity?

It depends on the upkeep you want. Quartz asks the least of you: it’s non-porous and never needs a sealer. Marble is one we recommend for vanities, if you like a stone that softens into a patina, since it’s softer and more porous. Granite and quartzite are natural stones that need sealing: granite every 1–2 years, quartzite on a schedule we’ll give you for your slab. Compare all four in our showroom before you decide.

Can I replace just the vanity top and keep my cabinet?

Yes. If the cabinet is staying, we template the new top right on it, then cut and install the stone. Removing and disposing of the old top can be part of the project, listed on your estimate before we start. While we prepare that estimate, ask how the faucet and drain will be disconnected and reconnected. Replacing the cabinet as well? Ours are made to order and installed by our team.
